About Best Landlord Software
Updated October 15, 2026
Best Landlord Software publishes guides for US owners of small rental portfolios. We compare tools by the work they cover and the limits in each plan. We use the vendor’s published terms to check those facts. The site does not manage property, run tenant reports or file tax returns.
What we publish
The homepage compares five landlord platforms. Topic guides cover rental books, rent collection and screening workflows. Public checklists and original files help organize those tasks without an email gate.
Our reviews use published sources. We have not run live rental portfolios in these tools or given scores as if we were customers. We do not claim a former team, a test history or skills we cannot show.
How we research a comparison
We check the vendor’s official plan and help pages. Each key fee or feature needs a plan name and check date. A claim from a vendor shows what it says. It does not show a measured result. Unknown means the source did not settle the fact; it does not mean zero or included.
We keep conflicting claims visible. For example, if two current vendor pages quote different fees, we do not choose the cheaper one without evidence. A source link lets you check the current page before buying.
Read the editorial method and disclosure for the ranking basis and commercial-link policy.
Corrections
Use the contact form to name the guide and quote the specific claim. Include the official source organisation, source page title and plan or report name where possible. Do not paste web addresses or send tenant identities, consumer reports or bank details.
We check a proposed change against the source. If the facts have changed, we update the pages that use them. A new date should mark a real source check, not just a page rebuild.
